Origins
Derived from the concept of broadcast static – restless noise that appears when no clear signal is present. The stylized form emphasizes sensation and mood rather than diagnosis.
Meaning
Statique describes the restless pull toward conflict, chaos, or unnecessary trouble in early recovery. Our nervous system, long accustomed to urgency and intensity, searches for interference when calm settles in. In Statique, we provoke, overreact, or drift toward disruption, not because we want harm, but because stillness feels unfamiliar and difficult to trust.
Usage
We weren’t actually angry – we were in Statique, trying to feel something loud enough to register.
